This release includes several new features that will assist you in managing and tracking your donation activities. We will continue to expand our Donor Management functionality in future releases. You will also see a 1% flat fee on all donation transactions moving forward to facilitate this development. For more detailed tutorials, click on the Help button at the top of your Event Dashboard and select How To Articles.
1. Accept Donations Separately from Events - If you have a Stripe account, you can now accept donations anytime through your event landing page. Simply click on the Settings icon from your Event Dashboard to turn on the Donations feature. This will result in a Make Donation icon being added to your Dashboard for processing donations on demand.
2. Donor Accounts - All customers who donate to your organization will now be given accounts for your record-keeping purposes. If you have an existing donor list, you may go in and enter those details for each donor in order to maintain this information in one place.
You will be able to store basic contact information as well as payment details for each donor.
Stubs will automatically generate new accounts when customers initiate donations to your organization.
3. Donation Categories - Under Manage Accounts you will now be able to create donation categories for tracking donation allocations. You can determine whether each category is visible to the public or not.
4. Recurring Donations - You will be able to save payment information and schedule how often donations should be processed. This can be initiated by the event organizer as well as directly by your customers when they donate from your landing page.
5. New Donation Report - Under Reports at the very top of your Dashboard View, there is a new report called Donations. You can select a specific date range if needed and export the results to Excel. This report will distinguish between one-time and recurring donations, provide the donation category selected, and it will provide the gross and net donation amounts.
6. Email scheduling - You can now prepare emails and schedule them in advance. This applies to both attendee updates and promotional blasts. The time you select will be rounded up or down to the nearest hour.
7. Ticket Sharing - When customers complete their orders on Stubs.net, their confirmation screen will now show an option called ‘Email or Text Tickets.’ This will allow customers to select 1 or multiple tickets from their order and share them by either email or text.
