The May 2023 release provides further enhancements to the mobile app. As you are checking in attendees and selling tickets at the door, you can now undo ticket scans and provide access to receipts after an order has been completed.
Undo an Accidental Scan
There could be occasions where tickets are scanned accidentally. Because tickets can only be scanned once, we have added the ability to go back and correct unintentional scans. This feature should only be used to correct accidental scans. Misuse of this feature could facilitate undesired ticket sharing.
- In order to ‘unscan’ a ticket, click on the Order button to view the order. You can also use the name lookup feature to find the order.
- Locate the ticket scan you wish to correct, and swipe left on that ticket.
- From here select Undo to effectively remove any record of that ticket being scanned. This means it can be scanned again.
Easy Receipt Retrieval
There are occasions where customers request a receipt after payment has already been taken at the door. If they did not provide a phone number for a texted receipt before payment was accepted, you have another option. This is also a helpful feature in the event the customer has forgotten which tickets or seats they just purchased.
- On the main app screen, there is a small icon that looks like a clock. This provides a history of purchases recently made on that device. Click here to locate the order.
- Since names are not captured at the door, you can use the last 4 digits of the credit card used to locate the appropriate transaction.
- Swipe left on the order to reveal the new Receipt Option.
- Selecting this will produce a barcode. Ask the customer to scan this barcode using their phone, and they will be directed to their receipt and ticket details.
