The primary feature in this release is the ability to provide customers with partial refunds. A partial refund is when you refund some amount that is less than the ticket value. This will allow you to transfer a ticket to a less expensive ticket option as well as offer compensation in the event a customer forgets to use a discount code, has a service complaint, etc. The option to provide a partial refund will be on the existing refund screen.
Partial Refunds
1. Access the order in question by filtering on the Order Lookup page.
2. Click on the option to Refund Order.
3. Locate any tickets requiring a refund (full or partial) and toggle them to Yes.
4. You will now see an option to enter a refund amount. Please note that this value will default to the full ticket amount. However, you can edit this to be less than the ticket’s face value.
5. Enter the amount you would like to refund. In this case we will issue a refund of $50.00
6. Click on Refund Selected.

Ticket Transfers to a Lower Value Ticket
