Reserve Tickets for Attendee Purchase
Let’s assume you’ve been holding tickets for a specific person, and they want to purchase them at a later time. You can generate and send a unique purchase link that will allow them to complete that purchase on their own.
1. View your ticket holds – either by clicking on Box Office -> View Holds or by viewing the Reports for your event and then selecting Ticket Holds.
2. Locate the order containing tickets you wish to convert to a purchase and select Reserve Tickets for Attendee Purchase.
3. Toggle each ticket to Yes that you want included in the reservation. You are also required to enter a name and email address. Once you have added the information, click on Send Reservation at the bottom of the page.
Pro Tip
Purchase links will not expire unless you add an expiration date. If the customer does not purchase before the expiration date, those tickets will become available for you to perform other actions.
4. Your customer will then receive an email with a link to purchase those tickets.
5. You can view whether they have completed the purchase by going to your Hold report and selecting Show Reserved.
Here you can see if they have purchased the tickets and when the reservation will expire (if an expiration date was added). You can also resend or cancel the reservation if necessary.
Pro Tip
Once the purchase link has expired, you will need to generate a new reservation in order for the customer to complete the order.
