Ticket Options
You can access additional options at both the ticket and price level. To view your basic ticket options, click on Options at the top of your ticket.
Copy Ticket
This will allow you to create a copy of your ticket. This is helpful if you have multiple options with similar descriptions.
Add Ticket Passcode
This allows you to set restrictions on when customers can access tickets or who can access them by requiring a passcode. For more information on Passcodes, please look at our Passcode Tutorial.
Add Ticket Display Order
Selecting this option will give you the ability to dictate the order in which your tickets appear for purchase. Tickets display in alphabetical order by default, so this allows you to change that and customize your display sequence.
Add Resale End Date
Selecting this option will allow you to set a cutoff date for Safe Resale transactions of this specific ticket.
Add To Cart Message
Selecting this option will give you the ability to customize a message that the cusotmer must acknowledge in order to purchase this ticket. This could be helpful for Add-on options that do not provide entrance to an event. Once a customer tries to add this ticket to their cart, a pop-up will appear with your message.
There are also several options at the ticket price level. These are accessed from the Options button that appears by the pricing fields.
Calculate Fees
This will show you the estimated cost of the ticket with taxes and fees. It's great to estimate your attendee's ticket cost or your estimated net, assuming you absorb the Stubs fees.
Copy Price
This will allow you to copy all the details of the ticket price. It might save you some typing depending on what you're doing.
Add Facility Fee
This allows you to increase your fees to account for any additional overhead or venue expenses. This will be passed on to the customer or absorbed, depending on what you have chosen to do. You receive the full amount of the Facility Fee.
Ticket Visibility
This allows you to create tickets that are only visible to you as the Event Organizer. Customers purchasing tickets online will not see any ticket where Ticket ONLY Visible to Organizer has been toggled to Yes.
Wait List Visibility
This allows you to selectively turn off the wait list feature on certain tickets. You may want to do this for early bird prices, etc.
Post-Checkout Instructions
You can add instructions that are unique to each price. This information will not be visible to the customer until the purchase is complete. This could include special VIP instructions for meet & greet timing and location. This message will be visible on the order confirmation screen and in the order confirmation email.
Add Unit Quantity
This is a really powerful feature that lets you combine sellable tickets. Let's say you are selling tables of 4, but you don't want to sell individual seats. You can set the unit quantity to 4, and when a table ticket is purchased, the customer will receive four scannable tickets at checkout.
Pro Tip
This feature could also be useful to do a couples discount, and both people still get a scannable ticket.
Add Advanced Price End Date
This is the date the advanced pricing expires and standard pricing goes into effect.
Add On-Sale Start Date
This is the date the ticket is available for purchase. The default date will be the On Sale to Publice date that you selected on the Event Details page. However, you might have some tickets that you do not want to become available until after the initial launch date.
Add On-Sale End Date
This is the date the ticket is no longer available for purchase. By default tickets are available to purchase until the event is over. This field allows you to cut off sales prior to that date if necessary.
Add Scan Start Date
This allows you to set a start time for when tickets will scan in the Event Organizer App. If you are selling daily tickets to a multi-day event, for example, you could specifiy which days each ticket would be scannable.
Add Scan End Date
This allows you to set an end time for when tickets will scan in the Event Organizer App. Again, this would be helpful if you are selling daily tickets to a multi-day event.
